Communications and Marketing Manager in the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science (SMSAS), Amy Ward, received a Kent Union Above and Beyond Award for her work on enhancing the student experience in the School.
The student nominated Award was presented to Amy by the School’s current School Student Representative. The Award includes a section of the nomination text which says:
Amy is an amazing person who has been putting great effort to create a wonderful student experience for SMSAS students. With her creativity and innovative ideas like revision breaks, snowy photoshoot competition, pi competition and spring challenge (and the list goes on), she definitely has gone above and beyond in making our student experience an exciting one!
The Award followed months of new events and activities hosted to encourage more students to participate in School initiatives, meet other SMSAS students and feel part of the SMSAS community.
