Our congratulations to Ana Rojo-Echeburua (pictured): she and her colleagues have been successful in applying to host the next iteration of Young Researchers in Mathematics (YRM). This is the UK’s largest mathematics conference run for postgraduate students by postgraduate students.
YRM aims to promote a fun, friendly and collaborative atmosphere in which participants can present and discuss their research with like-minded mathematicians in the early stages of their careers.
An organising committee made up of SMSAS PhD students, led by Ana, will now be working on the planning and organising of the event which is tentatively scheduled for late July or early August 2017.
