Professor Peter Clarkson to Give Plenary Talk at OPSFA15

Professor of Mathematics, Professor Peter Clarkson, from the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Kent, has been invited to give a plenary talk at the 15th International Symposium on ‘Orthogonal Polynomials, Special Functions and Applications’ (OPSFA15).

The Symposium will take place in July 2019 at the Research Institute for Symbolic Computation (RISC) of the Johannes Kepler University Linz, in Austria.

Professor Peter Clarkson

Professor of Mathematics

Peter is a Professor of Mathematics, Chair of the School’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Committee, member of the London Mathematical Society’s Women in Mathematics Committee, and Chair of the London Mathematical Society’s Good Practie Scheme. His research interests include Painlevé equations and Painlevé analysis, orthogonal polynomials and special functions, and exact solutions for nonlinear ordinary and partial differential equations.
