Presentations in Venice and Edinburgh

In May, Phil Brown visited Venice, Universita Ca’Foscari, funded by the Centre for Living Technology, working with researchers there as a guest of Professor Irene Poli. He also gave a lecture ‘Level-Screening designs for drug discovery’ and participated in a 2-day workshop with the group and two leading computational chemists, who had flown in from GlaxoSmithKline, Stevenage, UK.

Paul Sweeting has recently given two presentations at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ Pension, Risk and Investment Conference in Edinburgh.  The first was on investment strategies for self-sufficient portfolios, and the second was on longevity risk in end-game portfolios.
