PhD student bursary success

PhD student MingJie Hao has obtained a bursary from the organisers of the prestigious ASTIN Colloquium which will be held in Lisbon in May/June 2016. MingJie will give a talk at the colloquium. The bursary will cover MingJie’s registration fees, travel and accommodation costs.

SE@K student Ming Zhou has been awarded a £500 bursary to attend IBC 2016 in Victoria BC, Canada. Ming’s application was judged by the Biometric Society and the Fisher Memorial Trust. As a recipient of the bursary, Ming will provide a one page report after the conference summarising how she has benefited scientifically from attendance, to be published on the Regional website.
