Emilly Dennis has had a paper published in the Journal of Agricultural, Biological and Environmental Statistics titled, ‘Dynamic Models for Longitudinal Butterfly Data’, which can be viewed here. The paper was written with collaboration with Byron Morgan, Stephen Freeman, David Roy and Tom Brereton.
Jaideep has had a busy Summer after being invited to give a seminar at the University of Waterloo on May 26, 2015 on “An Alternative Structure for Home Equity Release”.
Jaideep also presented a paper at the Actuarial Teachers and Researchers Conference in Dublin on July 14, 2015, titled: “ Home Equity Release for Long Term Care Financing: an improved market structure and pricing approach” This was collaborative work with Doug Andrews, and Doug is presenting our work at the International Actuarial Association ASTIN, AFIR/ERM and IACA colloquia in Sydney on Aug 27, 2015 under the title: Home Equity Release: An Alternative Product and its Pricing
Doug also presented our work at an event titled, “Hot Topics in Health and Care,” hosted by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the Staple Inn Society on June 18, 2015 in London.
