On 13th July, members of the Maths Outreach team travelled to the Ravensbourne School to take part in a mini Big Bang event.
Leading workshops at the event were a variety of presenters from institutions which are related to STEM subjects, with SMSAS being well represented. We delivered three sessions on Topology & Play-Doh, Juggling and Game Show Theory, reaching a total of around 150 students. The feedback from the organisers was ‘nothing but positive’ and we were immediately invited back to attend the event next year.
