Year 12 and 13 students are invited to find out what it is like to study Mathematics, Data Science or Actuarial Science at the University of Kent at a virtual Taster Day on Saturday 9 January 2021, from 2pm to 5pm.
This three hour online event will give you the chance to experience being a Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or Data Science student for the day with opportunities to talk to our students and staff and get involved in academic activities including attending a lecture, and participating in a small-group tutorial.
The taster day is free to attend for year 12 and year 13 pupils taking A level Mathematics (or Further Mathematics) who intend to study mathematics, data science or actuarial science at university, and would be particularly helpful for those who are considering the University of Kent as one of their UCAS choices.
