The London Mathematical Society’s 150th Anniversary Hardy Fellow in 2015 is Professor Nalini Joshi (University of Sydney, Australia). Nalini gave a series of talks at various universities, including Kent, on 1st July.

To coincide with Nalini’s LMS Hardy lecture at Kent, Peter Clarkson organised a one-day workshop which included talks by: Beatrice Pelloni (Reading), Rod Halburd (UCL) and Jing Ping Wang, as well as Nalini. After the lectures there was a reception in the McVittie Library, which was funded by the LMS as part of their 150th anniversary celebrations.
