Kent Monopoly, lollipops and restaurant vouchers: SMSAS students celebrate the end of term

Students in the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science (SMSAS) celebrated the end of the Spring Term by taking part in the School’s first ever Spring Challenge.

The Spring Challenge followed on from the success of the Festive Challenge at the end of the Autumn Term, and saw students from all stages complete mathematics questions hidden around Sibson for their chance to win prizes.

Each day, the first two correctly completed challenge sheets handed in received a Kent Monopoly board, with everyone who took part thereafter getting a Cadbury’s Crème Egg.

Those who participated two days in a row won a SMSAS goodie bag.

Students who took part three or more days in a row were entered into a prize draw to win Restaurant Choice gift cards.

Alongside the Spring Challenge, everyone who handed in final assessments during the week were given lollipops.
