Congratulations to Emily Dennis, who passed her viva yesterday, with the recommendation that she be awarded her PhD.
Supervised by Professor Byron Morgan, Emily’s PhD research in statistical ecology centred upon developing methods for modelling the abundance of butterflies and other insects. She is now a postdoctoral researcher with the Statistics group and is based at Butterfly Conservation in Dorset.
