Congratulations to SMSAS PhD student Anita Jeyam for being awarded a prize for the “Best interdisciplinary poster” at the Research festival on Monday for her poster : “Modelling the dynamics of animal populations: does the model fit?”.
Anita is a 2nd year PhD student carrying out research in statistical ecology, in particular she is developing new tests to detect heterogeneity in detection probability within capture-recapture studies.
