The School is supporting the Canterbury Food Bank this Christmas and would very much appreciate donat
ions from staff, students, and others able to contribute items. There will be large boxes in the SMSAS foyer for you to deposit your donations throughout week 12 (from Monday 14 December).
At a time of year when relentless advertising urges us to buy needless/expensive items it is sadly very easy to lose sight of the fact that in our wealthy community there are many people who cannot afford bare essentials. Food banks provide a service that is very much valued by people experiencing financial difficulties.
