Joey Chong, a second year student on our Actuarial Science with a Year in Industry programme, has been shortlisted in two categories for the Kent Student Awards 2015.
Joey was nominated because of her work with Books to Africa reusing unwanted books by sending them to good causes and schools in Africa. This has led to her being awarded second place in the category Outstanding Environmental Champion and the runner-up prize in the Chancellor’s Employability Points Awards.
We congratulate Joey on her achievements and on her well-deserved awards.
