Paul Sweeting has recently been in Tokyo, where he gave a lecture to the Institute of Actuaries of Japan on developments in UK pensions. The attendees were all members of the Japanese actuarial profession. Turnout was strong with around 200 actuaries in attendance.
On 27th November, Diana Cole gave a seminar entitled Parameter Redundancy and Identifiability in Ecological Models at the University of Newcastle.
