Senior Lecturer in Mathematics, Dr Ana Loureiro, from the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science (SMSAS) at the University of Kent is due to take centre stage during a ‘Soapbox Science Canterbury‘ event on Saturday 15 June, 13.00-16.00 in Westgate Gardens.
During the three-hour public engagement event, Ana will be inviting members of the public to learn about the magic of numbers, ‘From 1 to Infinity’.
The free event organised by the School of Anthropology and Conservation (SAC) is open to people of all ages and will feature Soapbox Speakers from a wide range of subjects including, planetary science, forensic anthropology, molecular biology and much more.
