The label specialises in binaural renditions of sound spatialisation and its first release is a composition from Music Lecturer, Dr Aki Pasoulas.<\/p>\n<p>Aki\u2019s latest piece,<strong> <em>\u2018Irides\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, was performed live and recorded using the dummy head method. The releases features on Sonos Localia compilation, Loudspeaker Music For Headphones, which comprises 13 tracks of cutting-edge electro-acoustic music presented in immersive binaural sound.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smfa-news\/files\/2018\/11\/News-Aki-Pasoulas.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2910 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smfa-news\/files\/2018\/11\/News-Aki-Pasoulas-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smfa-news\/files\/2018\/11\/News-Aki-Pasoulas-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smfa-news\/files\/2018\/11\/News-Aki-Pasoulas-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/smfa-news\/files\/2018\/11\/News-Aki-Pasoulas.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Irides was also recently selected to be presented at CIME\/ICEM MUSICACOUSTICA General Assembly at the Central Conservatoire of Music in Beijing, China.
