Photo by Clay Barnard Chodzko<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>SMFA Fine Art Senior Lecturer and acclaimed artist Adam Chodzko has a video work, <em>About Knots<\/em>, screened\u00a0on February 8th at the Whitechapel Gallery in <em>Refuge<\/em> &#8211; an evening of films, sound-works and readings\u00a0that mark Britain\u2019s historic status as a place of sanctuary for threatened European artists.<\/p>\n<p><em>About Knots<\/em> focuses on the relationship between artist\u00a0<strong>Kurt Schwitters<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>in the final years of his life in the late 1940\u2019s, living in poverty, (and exile) in the Lake District, and J.
