Jed’s work on post-synthetic anion exchange in spin crossover materials published in Dalton Transactions

The paper entitled Post-synthetic Anion Exchange in Iron(II) 1,2,4-Triazole Based Spin Crossover Materials via Mechanochemistry describes a simple solvent-free method for modifying these switchable molecular-based materials.

It is part of Jed’s PhD work on the use of mechanochemistry for synthesis and tuning of spin crossover materials, which is now being followed up in the group by Lee and Rhona thanks to funding from the Leverhulme Trust.
