Dr Corey Lee Wrenn is Senior Lecturer in Sociology with the School of Social Sciences at the University of Kent and co-director of the\u00a0<\/span>Centre for the Study of Social and Political Movements<\/a>. She is a vegan feminist sociologist of social movements who specialises in anti-speciesist protest and human-nonhuman relations in the United States, United Kingdom, and Republic of Ireland.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Dr Wrenn is the co-founder of the International Association of Vegan Sociologists. She served as council member with the American Sociological Association\u2019s Animals & Society section (2013-2016) and was elected Chair in 2018. She has served as Book Review Editor to Society and Animals since 2017.
