His academic research focuses on political psychology, particularly the causes and consequences of political polarisation and the formation of political attitudes. Alongside this, he leads applied behavioural science programmes in partnership with UK government departments, spanning policy areas including net zero and sustainability, violence against women and girls, and disability. His work bridges the gap between experimental social psychology and real-world policy impact, translating behavioural evidence into practical interventions at scale.
