{"id":803,"date":"2021-07-09T10:01:36","date_gmt":"2021-07-09T09:01:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/seda-employability\/?p=803"},"modified":"2021-07-09T10:01:36","modified_gmt":"2021-07-09T09:01:36","slug":"graduate-load-test-project-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/seda-employability\/2021\/07\/09\/graduate-load-test-project-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Graduate Load Test Project Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">ThinkTribe<br \/>\nCanterbury, Kent<\/p>\n<p>TribeThis is an opportunity to join an established team of professional, experienced Load Test Project Managers in a company specialising in online performance Monitoring and Testing.<\/p>\n<p>The role will allow you to develop a strong set of skills in Project Management and Technical Delivery in the IT industry working with a wide variety of big name clients providing a key part of their online presence and development.<\/p>\n<p>Training will be given on ThinkTribe tools and processes and ongoing support will be provided to help develop a successful candidate into an effective Project Manager.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Team Structure:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Load Test team is a part of the service delivery team of ThinkTribe. Load Test Project Managers work semi-independently, supporting one another and reporting to the Load Test Team Leader.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Graduate Load Test Project Manager Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At ThinkTribe, LTPMs are responsible for the end to end delivery of all aspects of Load Testing projects, working with a variety of big name clients across the e-commerce space from highstreet retailers to live entertainment venues. This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working closely with clients to understand and deliver testing requirements on a per project basis.<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing high quality communication with both technical and non-technical client contacts.<\/li>\n<li>Providing a professional, expert presence for clients.<\/li>\n<li>Data Analytics to create realistic testing scenarios.<\/li>\n<li>Technical delivery of User Journey scripts using our in house Load Testing engine (scripting in Python)<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out Load Tests.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting on Load Test results and debriefing clients as appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to the day to day responsibilities listed above, the Load Test team also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take part in internal development of tools.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other departments in the company to improve service delivery, develop collective knowledge and expand business opportunities through your representation of ThinkTribe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate would have a personality and skill set that lends itself to effective project Management including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Object-Oriented Programming (Java, C#, Python etc)<\/li>\n<li>The ability to communicate with people of varying technical expertise both inside the company and with client contacts.\n<ul>\n<li>Written communication \u2013 Maintaining a professional manner throughout text communications and providing expert Load Test Reports.<\/li>\n<li>Verbal Communication \u2013 Lead and participate in calls with clients and colleagues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability and flexibility.
