#SkillStructUniversityChallenge is the inaugural annual week-long Hackathon welcoming young people 18 \u2013 26 from the UK and Beyond!<\/p>\n

This hackathon is\u00a0not exclusively for programmers\u00a0<\/strong>and there will be three prizes:<\/p>\n

\u00a3100<\/strong>\u00a0for the best program<\/p>\n

\u00a3100\u00a0<\/strong>for the best presentation<\/p>\n

\u00a350 + SkillStruct Merch<\/strong>\u00a0for the peoples choice award<\/p>\n

There will be lots of cool events and surprises during this week-long hackathon\u00a0so come along and get involved!<\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the hack?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The hack is to create a program or a presentation that improves what we do at the\u00a0SkillStruct University Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When does the hackathon take place?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0hackathon will take place from the 12th to the 19th of July<\/strong>. The\u00a0prize-giving ceremony<\/strong>\u00a0will happen a few days after on the\u00a023rd of July<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

How do I sign-up?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Competition rules<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Ensure you are following us on social media\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Maximum of 3 people in a team.<\/li>\n
  3. You can only enter for the best program prize or the presentation prize, not both.<\/li>\n
  4. Ensure you sign-up to enter the competition\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  5. Before the presentation slides, you will need to .zip the file and upload your presentation\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  6. Before the program demo, you will need to .zip the file\u00a0and upload your program\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  7. When you submit your presentation\/program please include your name.<\/li>\n
  8. For the programming tool, all languages are welcomed but\u00a0Python<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0.Net<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0are preferred.<\/li>\n
  9. For the non-programming entry please ensure you have a presentation deck.<\/li>\n
  10. The live\u00a0demonstrations<\/strong>\u00a0will happen on the\u00a019th of July<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  11. The\u00a0prize-giving ceremony<\/strong>\u00a0will happen on the\u00a023rd of July<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. A Dedicated Web Application for Skillstruct University.<\/li>\n
    2. A program to format CV\/Cover letters<\/li>\n
    3. A program to import .TXT\/.CSV files and format them i.e. append comas after each line.<\/li>\n
    4. A SkillStruct University Chatbot<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Non-programming suggestions<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The following are\u00a0only suggestions<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0we welcome entries not on this list:<\/strong><\/p>\n
