To find out more about us and what we do click here <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rdt.co.uk.\">www.rdt.co.uk.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Graduate Software Engineer role at RDT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 You will have involvement with our Client and Managed Service teams and work closely with client change requirements and other day to day needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 You will understand and be part of the release process to properly appreciate the importance and complexity of multiple clients and continuous development.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 You will have involvement with a local development team implementing new features and change requests for both local and international customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll be doing <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Learning (lots!). Our trainees are mentored and learn on the job and in structured training environments, in a team with exceptional professionals. We work with a range of exciting clients who demand top quality software solutions. The career path here offers the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology and innovative technical experts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we expect from you <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We seek talented and well qualified graduates with computer science or engineering degrees. We want to identify people with a thirst for learning who want to contribute to an organisation which will value and develop them. You will be able to talk confidently about relevant projects and work experience you have and be prepared to share examples of your development work. We are keen to hire people that share our passion for innovation and can demonstrate a \u201ccan-do\u201d attitude.<\/p>\n<p>We work in teams, in pairs and as a company to achieve our goals and deliverables so being able to work together is essential, whilst taking ownership and responsibility. What we do is provide exceptional software so you need to be methodical with an eye for detail and quality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you have any of these skills?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Knowledge of or experience in our sector, approach or technologies isn\u2019t essential, but it would give you a head start!<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 .NET code and VB.NET or C# development<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 WCF, ASP.NET Web API.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Microsoft Windows Operating system environment, WinForms<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Agile, Kanban or Scrum methodologies<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Testing knowledge including unit tests, integration tests and acceptance tests<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 SOLID and REST principles<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 ASP.NET WebForms and MVC<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 HTML and CSS<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 JavaScript (Knockout, AngularJS or Ember) and jQuery<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 RESTful web API<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Workflow Foundation<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Insurance<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s in it for you?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a rare opportunity to join a growing organisation that will invest in you and your career.
