A weekend of innovation & creativity awaits you at the\u00a0EIRA Innovation Weekender 2021. In collaboration with our partner universities: University of Kent, UEA, University of Suffolk, NUA, Writtle College and Harlow College \u2013 we are offering 3 days of teamwork, creative thinking and innovation, working on business challenges set by our industry partners \u2013 all around the topics of sustainability, tourism and mental health in a Post-Covid world.<\/p>\n

Supported by EIRA, University of Essex is teaming up with University of Kent, UEA, University of Suffolk, NUA, Writtle College and Harlow College to deliver the EIRA Innovation Weekender 2021 to approx. 80 students looking for something a bit different.<\/p>\n
You\u2019ll be asked to think innovatively in teams to work towards the challenges faced by industry right now. The entire weekender will be hosted online with fun and creative sessions by external speakers plus lots of team working time.<\/p>\n
Date:\u00a0<\/b>23rd<\/sup>-25th<\/sup>\u00a0April 2021 (Fri-Sun)<\/p>\n Venue<\/b>:\u00a0Online<\/p>\n Open to all students<\/p>\n Limited spaces per university<\/p>\n Students will be selected from submitted application forms.<\/p>\n Deadline for applications extended to 11.59pm on 18th<\/sup>\u00a0April 2021.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n If you are successful, we will email you shortly after the deadline.<\/p>\n PLEASE NOTE:<\/b>\u00a0You must be able to attend all three full days.<\/b>\u00a0Friday starts around 11am and we aim to close around 6pm on Sunday.
