Join this informal group Q&A to discuss ways of gaining relevant experience, job hunting resources, and how to talk about your experience.<\/p>\n Careers in Film and Media \u2013 Working in the Film Industry<\/a>, 17.00-18.30<\/p>\n Sajid Varda will talk about his personal journey as actor and producer\u2013 from starting out to sustaining a career in the film industry. Sajid will address the need for diversity in his roles as CEO & Founder of UK Muslim Film and Co-Chair of the BFI Screen Advisory Group on diversity. Come and find out about the freedoms and responsibilities of being self-employed and having a portfolio career, and make sure you are ready to go when you graduate. Will Wollen is Senior Lecturer in Drama and has worked freelance in the creative sector for over 20 years. He is currently on the Careers and Education Working Group in the Creative Industries Federation<\/p>\n Creating a Great CV for the Creative Industries<\/a> \u2013 14.00-15.00<\/p>\n This presentation will cover the do\u2019s and don\u2019ts when it comes to creating a great CV and covering letter for the creative industries, including how to structure a CV and how to make an impact!<\/p>\n Careers in Digital Media<\/a> \u2013 Alumni Q&A panel \u2013 17.00-18.00<\/p>\n Are you interested in a career in gaming, animation, film or web development?<\/strong><\/p>\n The event will be hosted by Mike Green and Blaine Epsley and will include a panel of alumni from the School of Engineering and Digital Arts \u00a0talking about their careers so far.
