Airbus Defence and Space will be hosting the Airbus Presentation Competition at the National Student Space Conference in March 2021. This exciting student competition will have a 1st prize of \u00a3500 and 2nd prize of \u00a3250, as well as providing a unique opportunity for finalists to raise their profile amongst the UK space industry.<\/p>\n
Airbus Presentation Competition with UKSEDS \u2013 deadline: 1st February 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n This opportunity will see selected students present a space mission, instrument or application of their creation on 6th-7th March 2021 at the National Student Space Conference.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The four primary topics of focus this year are:<\/p>\n o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Climate Change<\/p>\n o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pandemic Response<\/p>\n o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Resource Scarcity<\/p>\n o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Natural Disaster Response<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Airbus would particularly like to encourage applications from all degree subjects this year as space innovation is a very wide reaching topic.<\/p>\n Your idea should focus on a space mission, instrument or application. You can base this on\u00a0current topics of study at your university or from your own creative thinking and research.\u00a0Finalists will have the opportunity to present their concept at the National Student Space\u00a0Conference 2021 (NSSC2021) where they will be judged by panel of industry experts in front\u00a0of a (virtual) audience of students from across the country.<\/p>\n To enter<\/strong> you must provide a single A4 page submission<\/strong> outlining your concept together with an application form<\/strong> and consent form<\/strong> found in the document below. Your entry can include\u00a0pictures. Your submission will be judged based on the technical merit of the topic, creativity\u00a0and potential for development of the idea.
