The Graduate Software Engineer role at RDT
• You will have involvement with our Client and Managed Service teams and work closely with client change requirements and other day to day needs.
• You will understand and be part of the release process to properly appreciate the importance and complexity of multiple clients and continuous development.
• You will have involvement with a local development team implementing new features and change requests for both local and international customers.

We seek talented and well qualified graduates with computer science or engineering degrees. We want to identify people with a thirst for learning who want to contribute to an organisation which will value and develop them. You will be able to talk confidently about relevant projects and work experience you have and be prepared to share examples of your development work. We are keen to hire people that share our passion for innovation and can demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.
We work in teams, in pairs and as a company to achieve our goals and deliverables so being able to work together is essential, whilst taking ownership and responsibility. What we do is provide exceptional software so you need to be methodical with an eye for detail and quality.
Do you have any of these skills?
• Knowledge of or experience in our sector, approach or technologies isn’t essential, but it would give you a head start!
• .NET code and VB.NET or C# development
• WCF, ASP.NET Web API.
• Microsoft Windows Operating system environment, WinForms
• Agile, Kanban or Scrum methodologies
• Testing knowledge including unit tests, integration tests and acceptance tests
• SOLID and REST principles
• ASP.NET WebForms and MVC
• HTML and CSS
• JavaScript (Knockout, AngularJS or Ember) and jQuery
• RESTful web API
• Workflow Foundation
• Insurance
