Summer Internship opportunity for Engineering students

Electronic Modular Services are a local company based in Herne Bay and are offering University of Kent Engineering students the opportunity of 2 summer internships. The internships will run for 11/12 weeks and will be paid at the adult 23+ UK minimum wage of £8.91 per hour. They will be in person internships at their buildings in Herne Bay.

You would be working with the Research and Development Team on a specific project. For details of the projects please email cemsemployability@kent.ac.uk. They are also open to suggestions if there is anything relevant to a students studies and relevant to EMS business of wireless fire detection products that might be novel or different. They are always on the lookout for new and innovative ideas within their industry and if there was any prospect of a student achieving a patent as part of this process they would look at ways in which they could support them in working towards that.
