We are delighted to announce the launch of two new MA programmes for the 2013\/2014 academic year, featuring a unique opportunity to spend a term studying in Rome.<\/p>\n
The two programmes are an MA in Ancient History with a Term in Rome<\/a> and an MA in Roman History and Archaeology with a Term in Rome<\/a>.<\/p>\n A key focus of both programmes, is on the cities of the Roman Empire, especially the capital, Rome.<\/p>\n Students will experience the monuments and artefacts of this ancient city at first hand, with options to study its history and archaeology as well as site conservation and museum presentation.<\/p>\n University of Kent staff are present for part of the spring term in Rome to ensure continuity of academic guidance and pastoral support.<\/p>\n There is an Faculty of Humanities scholarship available to fund these programmes.
