{"id":923,"date":"2013-06-07T17:41:01","date_gmt":"2013-06-07T17:41:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=923"},"modified":"2017-06-15T10:24:00","modified_gmt":"2017-06-15T09:24:00","slug":"923","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2013\/06\/07\/923\/","title":{"rendered":"New scholarship for MA students to study in Rome"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Kent at Rome is pleased to be able to offer the following scholarship for taught Master&#8217;s students for the academic year 2013\/14:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Faculty of Humanities&#8217; Scholarship consisting of a fee waiver (worth \u00a35,590) and a full maintenance stipend on \u00a313,590, valid on a taught Master&#8217;s programme, either the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/classics\/postgraduate\/MA_in_Ancient_History_Rome.html\">MA in Ancient History with a Term in Rome<\/a>\u00a0or the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/classics\/postgraduate\/MA_in_Roman_History_and_Archaeology_Rome.html\">MA in Roman History and Archaeology with a Term in Rome<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The scholarship is open to candidates who have been offered a place on any of the Kent at Rome MA programmes in Roman History and Archaeology or Ancient History, to start in September 2013.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must hold a first-class Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in a relevant subject, or hold an equivalent non-UK qualification or a Master\u2019s degree at merit or distinction in a relevant subject or equivalent by July 2013.<\/li>\n<li>The scholarship will be awarded to outstanding applicants able to demonstrate a high level of academic achievement, clear intellectual ambition and the potential to make a strong contribution to their chosen MA programme.<\/li>\n<li>This scholarship is open to all full-time postgraduate applicants.
