{"id":7742,"date":"2017-08-16T16:03:45","date_gmt":"2017-08-16T15:03:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=7742"},"modified":"2017-08-16T16:03:45","modified_gmt":"2017-08-16T15:03:45","slug":"congratulations-to-anne-grydehoj","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2017\/08\/16\/congratulations-to-anne-grydehoj\/","title":{"rendered":"Congratulations to Anne Grydehoj"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/modern-languages\/index.html\">Department of Modern Languages<\/a> is delighted to announce that Anne Grydehoj has completed her PhD in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/modern-languages\/postgraduate\/research-french.html\">French Studies<\/a>, titled \u2018Citizenship, Gender and Ethnicity in French and Scandinavian Engaged Crime Fiction 1965\u20132015\u2019,\u00a0under the supervision of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/modern-languages\/staff\/o-meara.html\">Dr Lucy O&#8217;Meara<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/modern-languages\/staff\/baldwin.html\">Dr Thomas Baldwin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Anne\u2019s thesis explores the nature of crime fiction produced by France and Scandinavia between 1965 and 2015. Crime fiction, as a genre, responds to shifting social realities.
