{"id":7719,"date":"2017-08-11T12:04:01","date_gmt":"2017-08-11T11:04:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=7719"},"modified":"2017-09-21T17:54:47","modified_gmt":"2017-09-21T16:54:47","slug":"religious-studies-success-in-the-nss-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2017\/08\/11\/religious-studies-success-in-the-nss-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Religious Studies success  in the NSS 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The results of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestudentsurvey.com\/\">National Student Survey 2017<\/a>\u00a0(NSS) have now been released, revealing good news for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/thrs\/index.html\">Department\u00a0of Religious Studies<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The NSS is an independent UK-wide survey of all higher education institutions, providing an opportunity for final-year students to independently rate their experience at university.<\/p>\n<p>The survey ran from January until April this year and\u00a0the results were published earlier this week, on\u00a09\u00a0August 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The Department received a major endorsement for its teaching quality, with the student score for teaching satisfaction\u00a0at 85%, ranking 22nd in its subject area.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to our academic and support staff for providing excellent teaching to achieve this result, and thank you to all of our students who participated in the survey.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The results of the\u00a0National Student Survey 2017\u00a0(NSS) have now been released, revealing good news for the Department\u00a0of Religious Studies.
