{"id":7717,"date":"2017-08-11T11:29:31","date_gmt":"2017-08-11T10:29:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=7717"},"modified":"2017-08-11T12:09:07","modified_gmt":"2017-08-11T11:09:07","slug":"modern-languages-success-in-the-nss-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2017\/08\/11\/modern-languages-success-in-the-nss-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Modern Languages success in the NSS 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The results of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestudentsurvey.com\/\">National Student Survey 2017<\/a>\u00a0(NSS) have now been released, revealing good news for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/modern-languages\/index.html\">Department of Modern Languages<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The NSS is an independent UK-wide survey of all higher education institutions, providing an opportunity for final-year students to independently rate their experience at university.<\/p>\n<p>The survey ran from January until April this year and\u00a0the results were published earlier this week, on\u00a09\u00a0August 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Italian studies was ranked 1st\u00a0in the UK with a 100% student satisfaction rating. Other successes came from German studies (95% student satisfaction rating), Hispanic Studies (95% student satisfaction rating) and French (84% student satisfaction rating).<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to our academic and support staff for providing excellent teaching to achieve this result, and thank you to all of our students who participated in the survey.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The results of the\u00a0National Student Survey 2017\u00a0(NSS) have now been released, revealing good news for the Department of Modern Languages.
