{"id":7285,"date":"2017-04-25T10:27:15","date_gmt":"2017-04-25T09:27:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=7285"},"modified":"2017-04-26T10:34:21","modified_gmt":"2017-04-26T09:34:21","slug":"2-day-pilgrimage-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2017\/04\/25\/2-day-pilgrimage-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"Two-day pilgrimage experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Join Julia Peters, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/classics\/postgraduate\/research-classical-archaeological-studies.html\">PhD student<\/a> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/classics\/index.html\">Department of Classical &amp; Archaeological Studies<\/a> on a walk on the historic Via Francigena pilgrimage route through the beautiful Kent countryside from Canterbury to Dover.<\/p>\n<p>The mini pilgrimage experience includes a walk from Canterbury to Eythorne (14 miles) on Saturday 6 May, an overnight stay at Eythorne Community Centre and on Sunday 7 May the walk continues to Dover (10 miles).<\/p>\n<p>The mini pilgrimage costs \u00a310, which includes an overnight stay in Eythorne, dinner and breakfast.
