{"id":7145,"date":"2017-03-23T13:00:52","date_gmt":"2017-03-23T13:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=7145"},"modified":"2017-03-23T16:47:43","modified_gmt":"2017-03-23T16:47:43","slug":"peter-read-on-guillaume-apollinaire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2017\/03\/23\/peter-read-on-guillaume-apollinaire\/","title":{"rendered":"Peter Read on Guillaume Apollinaire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/modern-languages\/staff\/read.html\">Peter Read<\/a>, Professor of Modern French Literature and Visual Arts in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/modern-languages\/index.html\">Department of Modern Languages<\/a>, will be giving a guest lecture entitled &#8216;Dans la fabrique du po\u00e8te: manuscrits et \u00e9preuves\u00a0de Guillaume Apollinaire&#8217; [&#8216;In the Poet&#8217;s Workshop: Manuscripts and Proofs of Guillaume Apollinaire&#8217;] at the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.unito.it\/\">University of Turin<\/a> on 5 April 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The illustrated\u00a0lecture will explore the constantly expanding\u00a0collection of personal\u00a0notes, jottings and manuscript drafts established by\u00a0the French poet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.poetryfoundation.org\/poems-and-poets\/poets\/detail\/guillaume-apollinaire\">Guillaume\u00a0Apollinaire <\/a>(1880-1918).
