{"id":7137,"date":"2017-03-20T10:04:46","date_gmt":"2017-03-20T10:04:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=7137"},"modified":"2017-03-31T16:12:53","modified_gmt":"2017-03-31T15:12:53","slug":"routledge-interviews-simon-kirchin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2017\/03\/20\/routledge-interviews-simon-kirchin\/","title":{"rendered":"Routledge interviews Simon Kirchin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Academic publisher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.routledge.com\">Routledge<\/a> has published an online interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/philosophy\/staff\/kirchin.html\">Dr Simon Kirchin<\/a>, Reader in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/philosophy\/index.html\">Philosophy<\/a> and Dean of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/humanities\/\">Faculty of Humanities<\/a>, about his latest book, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.routledge.com\/Reading-Parfit-On-What-Matters\/Kirchin\/p\/book\/9780415529501\"><em>Reading Parfit: On What Matters<\/em><\/a> (Routledge, 2017).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asc.ox.ac.uk\/person\/49\">Derek Parfit<\/a> (1942-2017) was a British philosopher who specialised in identity, rationality and ethics, and who sadly died on 1 January this year.
