{"id":7033,"date":"2017-02-23T16:35:25","date_gmt":"2017-02-23T16:35:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=7033"},"modified":"2017-08-29T16:27:40","modified_gmt":"2017-08-29T15:27:40","slug":"austrian-films-at-kent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2017\/02\/23\/austrian-films-at-kent\/","title":{"rendered":"Austrian films at Kent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Julia K\u00f6nigs, OeAD Lektorin in German, in\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/modern-languages\/index.html\">Department of Modern Languages<\/a> is hosting a screening of Austrian short films\u00a0showing, entitled Austrian Shorts, on Wednesday 1 March 2017 in Darwin Lecture Theatre 2 (note the updated location).<\/p>\n<p>The event\u00a0will feature four films nominated for the 2017\u00a0Austrian Short\u00a0Film Festival that was held at the University of Reading earlier in the month:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt4663912\/\">Die Badewanne<\/a><\/em><\/i><\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt3814914\/combined\">Pitter Patter Goes My Heart<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=7kq4cKAXtco\">Absent<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt4882420\/\">Wald der Echos<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The screening\u00a0is open to all, as all the films\u00a0will be\u00a0shown with English subtitles.
