The competition is supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/publicengagement\/per-fund.html\">Pro Vice Chancellor\u2019s Public Engagement Fund<\/a> and follows on from the success of Ray\u2019s\u00a0two TED-Ed films, &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=juWYhMoDTN0\">A Glimpse of Teenage Life in Ancient Rome<\/a>&#8216; and &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=RQMgLxVxsrw\">Four Sisters in Ancient Rome<\/a>&#8216;, which have had over 8 million views on YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>The competition invites students to write a script focussing on migration in the Roman Empire. It is an exciting way for students to use their knowledge about Rome and its people to develop their own stories and can help with revision. The lucky winner will receive \u00a3100 and have the chance to have their script turned into an animated film.
