{"id":6784,"date":"2016-12-05T12:43:19","date_gmt":"2016-12-05T12:43:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=6784"},"modified":"2016-12-14T15:26:55","modified_gmt":"2016-12-14T15:26:55","slug":"author-alessandro-perissinotto-to-visit-kent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2016\/12\/05\/author-alessandro-perissinotto-to-visit-kent\/","title":{"rendered":"Author Alessandro Perissinotto to visit Kent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/researchcentres\/eurolit\/index.html\">Centre for Modern European Literature<\/a> is to host Italian author and scholar <a href=\"http:\/\/nuke.alessandroperissinotto.it\">Dr Alessandro Perissinotto<\/a> (University of Turin) for a series of events next week.<\/p>\n<p>Alessandro Perissinotto has published numerous novels, including historical and crime fiction. His first novel was <em>L&#8217;anno che uccisero Rosetta<\/em> [<em>The Year that Killed Rosetta<\/em>] (Sellerio, 1997). His novel <em>Una piccola storia ignobile<\/em> (Rizzoli, 2006), published in English as\u00a0<em>Blood Sisters<\/em> by Hersilia Press.
