They are:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/modulecatalogue\/modules\/TH619\">TH619: Religious Studies and Philosophy in the Classroom<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/modulecatalogue\/modules\/CP653\">CP653: Comparative Literature and English &amp; Linguistics in the Classroom<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Both are 15 credits at Stage 3, available only to students in their final year.<\/p>\n<p>These modules provide students with the opportunity to combine an academic course with work experience, so they can also gain credits towards their degree while working. Students are placed at a secondary school which will gives them an insight into a teaching career option. Even if it is not their chosen career path the experience extends their abilities and enhances their future work opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The modules join the module <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/modulecatalogue\/modules\/LL515\">LL515: Languages in the Classroom<\/a> already available.<\/p>\n<p>Students enrol on the each of these modules as normal, but final admission will be via informal interviews during the spring term.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact Yadira Ross\u00a0at <a href=\"mailto:y.ross@kent.ac.uk\">y.ross@kent.ac.uk<\/a> for further information as spaces are limited.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two new modules have been added for students within the School of European Culture and Languages that enhance work experience.
