{"id":4977,"date":"2015-09-28T11:02:04","date_gmt":"2015-09-28T10:02:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=4977"},"modified":"2017-08-29T16:15:47","modified_gmt":"2017-08-29T15:15:47","slug":"ian-cooper-and-deborah-holmes-guest-edit-journal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2015\/09\/28\/ian-cooper-and-deborah-holmes-guest-edit-journal\/","title":{"rendered":"Ian Cooper and Deborah Holmes guest edit journal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u202a<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/modern-languages\/staff\/cooper.html\">Dr Ian Cooper<\/a>, Lecturer in German, and Dr Deborah Holmes, Senior Lecturer in German, both from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/modern-languages\/index.html\">Department of Modern Languages<\/a>, have edited and contributed to a special issue of the UK&#8217;s major German Studies journal <a href=\"http:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/journal\/10.1111\/(ISSN)1468-0483\"><em>German Life and Letters<\/em><\/a> on the nineteenth-century short prose narrative.<\/p>\n<p>The volume is based on a symposium held <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/events\/index.html?eid=10733&amp;view_by=month&amp;date=20140624&amp;category=&amp;tag=\">in Canterbury in June 2014<\/a>, supported by SECL and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/modern-languages\/news\/index.html?view=3919\">the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation<\/a>.
