{"id":4858,"date":"2015-09-07T10:42:27","date_gmt":"2015-09-07T09:42:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=4858"},"modified":"2019-04-10T11:22:53","modified_gmt":"2019-04-10T10:22:53","slug":"50th-festival-wine-tasting-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2015\/09\/07\/50th-festival-wine-tasting-event\/","title":{"rendered":"50th Festival wine tasting event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/alumni\/\">50th Festival<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/index.html\">School of European Culture and Languages <\/a>(SECL)\u00a0hosted a wine tasting event on Saturday 5 September for SECL alumni.<\/p>\n<p>Henry Rymil from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wine-room.co.uk\/home\">Wine Room <\/a>introduced 7 European wines, a vintage Reserve Brut from Chapel Down, Kent, a &#8216;Lois&#8217; Gr\u00fcner Veltliner 2014 from Austria, a &#8216;Bon Bon&#8217; Rose 2014,\u00a0from France, a Duas Quintas 2012 from Portugal, Imprint Primitivo Appassito 2012, from Italy and a Ribera Tinta del Pais 2011 from Spain.<\/p>\n<p>The informal event allowed plenty of time for tasting,\u00a0questions, discussions\u00a0and chat.
