{"id":4726,"date":"2015-08-13T11:20:20","date_gmt":"2015-08-13T10:20:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=4726"},"modified":"2015-08-13T11:20:20","modified_gmt":"2015-08-13T10:20:20","slug":"classics-and-archaeology-success-in-nss-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2015\/08\/13\/classics-and-archaeology-success-in-nss-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Classics and Archaeology success in NSS 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The results of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestudentsurvey.com\/\">National Student Survey 2015<\/a>\u00a0(NSS) have now been released, revealing good news for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/classics\/index.html\">Department of Classical &amp; Archaeological Studies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The NSS is an independent UK-wide survey of all 155 higher education institutions, providing an opportunity for final-year students to independently rate their experience at university.<\/p>\n<p>The survey ran from January until April this year, targeting students towards the end of their degree, and\u00a0the results published yesterday, 12 August 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The Department saw two successes \u2013 with both Archaeology and Classics categories ranked 1st in the UK for overall satisfaction; with Archaeology scoring 99% for teaching satisfaction, and Classics scoring 97%.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to our academic and support staff for providing excellent teaching to achieve this result, and we would like to thank all of our students who participated in the survey.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The results of the\u00a0National Student Survey 2015\u00a0(NSS) have now been released, revealing good news for the Department of Classical &amp; Archaeological Studies.
