This is the culmination of three or four years of hard work, or longer for part-time students.<\/p>\n<p>Several students in the department also\u00a0won awards at\u00a0a\u00a0SECL prize giving. The winners were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Joshua Gottlieb won the\u00a0Best Degree and the Laurence Goldstein Essay Prize<\/li>\n<li>Jonathan Egid won\u00a0the Dissertation Prize<\/li>\n<li>Omega House won for the Most Significant Contribution to Philosophy<\/li>\n<li>Jonathan Egid and Daniel Mahoney both\u00a0won\u00a0the Keith Jones Prize for Outstanding Performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The prizes\u00a0were\u00a0awarded at\u00a0a\u00a0graduation\u00a0party held on campus, prior to the graduation ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to our final-year students\u00a0from the Department of Philosophy who graduated\u00a0today with their well-earned degrees.
