This is the culmination of three or four\u00a0years of hard work, or longer for part-time students.<\/p>\n<p>Several students in the department also\u00a0won awards at\u00a0a\u00a0SECL prize giving. The winners were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Joshua Gottlieb for Best Degree<\/li>\n<li>Joint winners, Nicola Baldwin, Tom Colombo and Sofia Cumming, the Roger and Agnes Cardinal Prize for the Best Dissertation<\/li>\n<li>Gabriella Grandi and James Tookey, runners up in the Roger and Agnes Cardinal Prize for the Best Dissertation<\/li>\n<li>Jemima Crayden for the Most Significant Contribution to Comparative Literature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The prizes were\u00a0awarded at a\u00a0graduation party held on campus, prior to the graduation ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to our final-year students\u00a0from the Department of Comparative Literature who graduated today with their well-earned degrees.
