This is the culmination of three or four years of hard work, or longer for part-time students.<\/p>\n<p>Several students in the department\u00a0have also\u00a0won awards\u00a0for\u00a0a\u00a0SECL prize giving. The winners were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Katharine Mawford won\u00a0the Dissertation Prize and the KH Lee Ancient Language Prize for Best Mark in Advanced Latin<\/li>\n<li>Andrew Lees won the Tom Blagg Prize for best degree<\/li>\n<li>Gabrielle Pilcher won for the Most Significant Contribution to Classical &amp;\u00a0Archaeological Studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The prizes\u00a0were\u00a0awarded at\u00a0a\u00a0graduation\u00a0party held on campus, prior to the graduation ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to our final-year students\u00a0from the Department of Classical &amp;\u00a0Archaeological Studies who graduated\u00a0today with their well-earned degrees.
