{"id":4441,"date":"2015-07-03T14:21:57","date_gmt":"2015-07-03T13:21:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=4441"},"modified":"2015-07-03T15:17:23","modified_gmt":"2015-07-03T14:17:23","slug":"undergraduate-student-wins-overseas-position-in-psycholinguistics-research","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2015\/07\/03\/undergraduate-student-wins-overseas-position-in-psycholinguistics-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Undergraduate student wins overseas position in psycholinguistics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Georgia-Ann Carter, an undergraduate student about to take a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/ell\/undergraduate\/study-abroad.html\">Year Abroad<\/a> on her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/ell\/undergraduate\/english-language-and-linguistics.html\">BA (Hons) in English Language &amp; Linguistics<\/a>, has just successfully interviewed for a student assistantship at the prestigious <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mpi.nl\">Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia, who will be spending the forthcoming academic year in the Netherlands, studying at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ru.nl\/english\/\">Radboud University<\/a> in Nijmegen, will be assisting part-time at the Institute for Psycholinguistics to help its members conduct research on human behavior in face-to-face social interaction.<\/p>\n<p>On the assistantship, Georgia said \u2018Naturally, I&#8217;m ecstatic about the opportunity to work at such a prestigious institute.
