{"id":3999,"date":"2015-03-31T14:52:59","date_gmt":"2015-03-31T14:52:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/?p=3999"},"modified":"2015-05-13T17:06:05","modified_gmt":"2015-05-13T16:06:05","slug":"secl-success-at-teaching-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/secl-news-events\/2015\/03\/31\/secl-success-at-teaching-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"SECL success at teaching awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Academics and teachers from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/index.html\">School of European Culture and Languages <\/a>had a successful evening at the Kent Union Teaching Awards 2015, winning in three out of the four categories in which they were nominated.<\/p>\n<p>Luca Di-Gregorio from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/italian\/index.html\">Department of Italian<\/a> was nominated in the &#8216;Postgraduates who Teach&#8217; category, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/german\/staff\/kunzelmann.html\">Dr Heide Kunzelmann<\/a> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/german\/index.html\">Department of German<\/a> won the Academic Adviser Award, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/ell\/staff\/rathcke.html\">Dr Tamara Rathcke<\/a> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/ell\/index.html\">Department of English Language &amp;\u00a0Linguistics<\/a> won the Fantastic Feedback Award and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/hispanicstudies\/staff\/da-silva.html\">Dr Ant\u00f4nio M\u00e1rcio da Silva<\/a>\u00a0from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/secl\/hispanicstudies\/index.html\">Department of Hispanic Studies<\/a> won the Humanities Faculty Award.<\/p>\n<p>The winners were announced at an awards ceremony held at the Canterbury campus on Monday 30 March.
