An important forum for contemporary writing from across the German-speaking world, the festival\u2019s main aim is to promote up-and-coming authors. Many previous Rauris prize-winners, such as Herta M\u00fcller, Michael K\u00f6hlmeier or Raoul Schrott, have gone on to become big names.
